Greywater Recycling for Hydroponic Agriculture
In this project, I led the design of an award-winning device that cost-efficiently recycles greywater for hydroponic agriculture for low-income, rural families across the world. The device is now patent-pending and has provided framework for the creation of "GreyGreen," a greater corporate initiative allowing the product to reach its target customers.

Project Overview
This patent-pending device (USPTO No. 63/464,09) allows contaminated greywater to be filtered and recycled into a hydroponic form of agriculture. First, users wash their hands, clothes, or food in the attachable wash basin. Once dirty water is produced, users turn a ball valve which permits water to flow through a filter of natural materials to return greywater pH to tapwater levels. Filtered water is then dispersed to each of four hydroponic dispersion tubes, allowing plants to grow overtime using the Kratky Method of hydroponics. This combination of agricultural methods, independently tested and verified, eliminates the need for electricity and expensive, spacious farming technologies. As of 2023, the device has a $12.50 assembly cost, offering a cost-efficiency advantage of 80-100% compared to existing solutions. This device inspired me to co-found "GreyGreen," a company delivering equitable farming technologies for low-income, rural families across the world.
